This 19th Century mantle clock features a bronze figurine with a malachite base. The depicted bronze figure is of Cupid standing upon books to try and catch a rooster. The enamel clock face dial features Roman numerals and intricate hour and minute hands. The clock and bronze figure rest upon a rectangular malachite base with carved acanthus leaf feet.
