This graceful 1850's French Neoclassical-style indoor or outdoor fountain is made of carved Carrara marble with a green marble accent. On top of the fountain is a statue of a woman extending her left side. Her hair and robe are draped around her body towards the flowing water coming from a rock at her feet. Her face and hands are delicately carved and have a relaxed position. At her feet is the water basin in the shape of a clam shell with a large scroll behind the woman's statue. In the water basin the woman stands on a pedestal with a dark green marble accent. The basin and statue are raised by a column and pedestal. The column has fluted details and wave detail bands. The architectural base features green and white marbles with beveled edges and curved feet.
